NFT & GameFi Development Updates 4/12/2022
We’ve been hard at work planning and building our NFT Contracts and GameFi dApp. We aim to have more concrete visuals for you soon, but in these stages of development, so much of the progress being made is not visually impactful. We will have plenty of visuals of NFT themes and images as well as UI in the coming days and weeks, but today is not that day.
We have not released much formally to the community in terms of development progress because many of the decisions we have been discussing are very subject to change in the stage of development we are in. Our fear was that we would release information that was only tentative and have people make financial decisions based on that information, so we have only released the information we knew was very concrete. As with any development, decisions are all subject to change, but we want to make sure we share the information that is more likely set in stone.
Our goals for the GameFi portion of the Boo Finance product suite are to make a game that:
- Is fun and engaging for users to play
- Is as decentralized and captured on-chain as much as possible
- Has a reasonable path to users being profitable
- Requires the use of and benefits the BOOFI token
- Integrates with and complements the existing DeFi products we have built
We have been determining what we can and can’t do with the time and resources that we have available. While our team is composed of some very talented developers and artists, we are not an indie game development company working with 2 years and millions of dollars of VC investment funds. However, we are doing our best to push the limits of what can be done with NFTs and GameFi. Over the next couple of articles, we will be laying out our concrete decisions for our NFTs and GameFi that we have so far. We are extremely excited about the progress being made and feel that we are well on our way to being a top contender for best NFTs and GameFi on Avalanche.
